All The Same All Along

I'm leaving Brunei for KL out of boredom tomorrow. Despite HM's Birthday Celebration and the Perayaan currently being held in any space they can find, I still need to fuel my empty head with a new environment. As usual stalls and stages are set up in Padang Jubilee, the parking lot infront of the Royal Regalia and around Taman SMOAS. Expect alot of people, noise, lights and cars around. Traffic is really bad once the clock hits at 8.

I guess alot of people are going to be busy this month. Stallholders, performers, visitors, dating couples, attention craving fashion girls, buaya-buaya daratan as well as stalkers working their nights around the vicinity. Here's my tips if you're planning to go there:

  1. Do not bring your date if you hate onlookers and staring eyes.
  2. Bring lots of $1 dollar note or $100 if you want to annoy them sellers.
  3. Bring an umbrella in case it rains or as a weapon to chase off buaya daratan.
  4. If you like modern rock, do listen to Chevelle. Their song Forfeit kicks earbutt.
  5. Before buying any food or drinks especially, do ask for sample. If they insist you to buy when u really don't want to, show them your $100 notes.
  6. Do buy something for the people at home, kuih malaya and coconut drinks are a drooler.
  7. If you really need attention get naked around there, don't be too vain.

Nothing new happened this week, there was a BBQ gathering made by the the usual guys again on monday which was alot of fun. Also some new toys my dad got for me from his Singapore trip; a Sanyo CG65 Xacti mini handycam/digicam and a Sony Photo Station mini photo printer. I love my dad as much as I love making his life miserable. Hangout at DeRoyalle or Anggrek Cafe once I got home guys? Thanks.

Everything

Three visits in a week to Cofeebean before midnight has paid me off - a real life drama, tension, suspense and most importantly a comedy within itself when a couple fought their wits out last night. I tried not to stare but the place was more or less empty and the tension just can't be ignore. Priceless. Bribe me with Cofeebean's Ice Blended Caramel please.

Caramel + Hanging out + Drama = Kick ass time

Went to Miri on Monday with the usual boys, it was the best day to go there during this month's crazy sale season. Apple's Ipod Nano and an Extreme Mac FM Transmitter kept us company throughout the trip. I just got myself Paramore's new album, ok actually i ripped their mp3's off from torrent for free. Paramore's album Riot! is worth a few ears to listen for. A Gothic sound from a band like The Birthday Massacre sounds good too, thanks to Shukri for the recommendation.

I think Miri is still safe just make sure you're not overdressed. We went to those major department stores to shop and I think their e-mart is the craziest place ever with gazilion tons of clothes to offer. Didn't really plan what to buy so it was a chance wasted. Gonna make it up with a KL trip hopefully early next week \m/-_-\m/. "Saye nak pegi dah nie."

E-mart Hmm What would they do if the stock went out of date?

Less than a month left before a new semester. McDonald's BigMac is really tempting now. I want fries with that.

In Need Of A Spare

I've been wondering if it is possible to read minds and thoughts of others. If so then help me read my mind and heart because I'm really confuse lately. By the way check out Effa's new blog, good writings and perhaps more good stuff will be coming out from her - the mind of a girl that's really in love i guess.

A month left before UBD starts a new semester and a new intake for new undergraduates. Happy faces and sour puss all around. Good luck for those who'll be involve with the Toyota Treasure Hunt this Sunday.

"From your words, I can tell you’ve lost a reason, the will to carry on
No chance that we will make it, You’ve faked it for so long
But I’m standing here before you, as your barely holding on
And I’m writing just to show you, there is strength in who you are.."

"We live and we fall, but Ill try to move on
It’s so hard to be the one that’s on my own
We live and we fall, but I’ll keep moving on
It’s so hard to be the one that’s on my own." - Amber Pacific's watching over me.
I'll stop blogging once the semester starts, promise.
Confused and Bored. Bowling anyone?

Life @ Its Best

Something reminded me that I need to update this silly blog before I close it permanently. I've got nothing to post so here's another one of my list.

Here is Arto's Best & Worst List for the past 2 weeks.

  1. Best Night : Saturday - Had a dinner at Capers Restaurant with the usual boys for all you can eat buffet $12.80, gluttony kicks in.. Sinful but yummy.
  2. Best New Routine : Out for every night since the last 14 days, mostly to the same places - hunting for DVD's, cruising and staying over at a friend's for a game.
  3. Best Old Routine : Sleeping late.
  4. Best Thing/s Bought : That 70's Show Season 1 - $8 for a copied pack or $24 for the original one, I'm a cheapskate. Also, a pair of boxer huhu
  5. Worst Thing Bought : Car Fuel. $20 of fuel don't last long with my high powered car engine, 2 days max nowadays.
  6. Best Gift : A guitar pick from Syaheir, its small but i love it. Thanks dude.
  7. Best Shop : Communist DVD Shop. Hands Down.
  8. Worst Shop : The Mall Gadong.
  9. Best Movie Watched At Cinema : Transformers. Speechless. See it for yourself.
  10. Best Movie/s Watched At Home : Shooter and The Restless.
  11. Best Cinema : Ironically its The Mall's Cinema or the Empire just because there's less crowd.
  12. Worst Cinema : Seri Qiulap's Cinema. I think the chair is annoying and the screen is too close from where we sit..
  13. Best Food : BBQ Sauce Ribs Pasta at Capers Restaurant which actually costs $18.90. The buffet is cheaper, only a dumbass would order ala carte for dinner there.
  14. Worst Food : My Maggi Ayam That tasted like a mee in a water plate. Maggi Goreng is still my fav.
  15. Best Drink : Green Tea and Caramel Ice Blended at CofeeBean.
  16. Best Funny Moment : Loosing to a guy named Mr.G in the PES tournament. Can't elaborate on this.
  17. Worst Moment : Realizing that loosing the tournament wasn't funny after all.
  18. Scary Moment : Knowing that there's a killer on the loose that killed a couple in Tutong a couple of days ago.
  19. Best Car Driven : Dad's precious car Volkswagen Toureg.
  20. Worst Car Driven : Mine,perhaps.
  21. Best Friend : My alter ego - adeb.
  22. Worst Friend : Mr.Nas, thanks for abandoning me during the tournament.
  23. Best Gossip : About some girls.
  24. Best Topic With The Boys : About some girls..
  25. Best Website Visited : hehe
  26. Best Music Album : The Academy Is..'s new album Santi.
  27. Best Track Listened : Those by Jimmy Eats World, Copeland and Augastana. Emo tags music are lame.
  28. Best Time To Sleep : Right after this.
  29. Best Time To Wake Up : 3pm-5pm.
  30. Best Number : 30. Just because the list ends here.
Out of boredom. Thanks.

Ghost Of A Good Thing

My internet connectivity is in pain, it seems that the additional computer in this house has created a conflicting IP address and wireless inconsistency. Right now I rather have those wires and cords messing around my room in return for a constant internet access. Its not that my room is clean anyway.

PES Tournament is going to be held at BigPapa's in Qiulap this 24th June. Its not under Rano's but under Yus whoever whom has been organizing this tournament frequently at the mall a few months back. The competition is divided into 3; KO stages, CL and Multitap. The KO Stages and Champions League are $10 per entry. The multitap competition is $20 per team of two. Better late than never but I'm looking for a multitap partner for the tournament. Look out for my next post winning the tournament aha in my dreams.

Looking forward to Syam's Private Partay. Is Capers Restaurant in Qiulap still serving the $12.50 all you can eat price gimmick/buffet? Gonna find out on Saturday night with the dudes. Make more of them outings especially at night guys, its the only time I'm awake these days. For a calm time listen to The Hush Sound - Wine Red.

Alot of my friends are having or had had their birthday already this month - the month of June - I remember my EAS lecturer in MD; Mr.Holland mentioned that those born on this month are gifted, if not handsome or pretty and are born with charisma within themselves that would envy others. I don't know if its true but come to think about it Pejol is gifted with an amazing voice, Abang from what I've witnessed has always been chased by girls, Shukri with his smart ass brain and witty self. To the others I forgot to mention and who's enjoying their birthday this month i wish u a Happy Birthday. Chomp on your age.
